About this attraction
Alpha Golf Club offers a warm and memorable golfing experience set against the vast, scenic backdrop of outback Queensland.
Its natural course design, featuring sand greens and fairways shaped by the land, delivers an authentic challenge suited to both seasoned players and casual golfers alike.
In 2025, Alpha proudly hosted a round of the Outback Queensland Masters, Australia's most remote and rewarding amateur golf series. It was a proud achievement for the club and a celebration of its dedicated volunteers and close-knit community.
Each hole at Alpha Golf Club offers something unique, with the chance to spot kangaroos on the course or enjoy a breathtaking outback sunset as you play. After your round, the clubhouse is the perfect place to relax, share a yarn with the locals, and feel right at home.
Regular events and competitions add to the lively, inclusive atmosphere, with visitors always welcome to join in.
