Frequently asked questions
Discovering events with confidence, the accessibility information we show, and everything in between.
For attendees
What is Inclusable?
Inclusable is an accessibility-first event discovery and ticketing platform designed to help people better understand what an event will actually be like before they attend.
Most event platforms focus on selling tickets, but Inclusable focuses on helping people attend events with greater confidence. We provide practical accessibility information that helps users plan ahead, avoid unnecessary stress and make more informed decisions before booking.
Rather than using vague labels like “accessible”, Inclusable focuses on real-world detail such as venue access, parking, seating, stairs, movement throughout the venue and other practical information that can significantly impact someone’s event experience.
Inclusable helps bridge the gap between amazing experiences and the people who want to attend them.
Is Inclusable only for people with disability?
No.
While Inclusable has been built with accessibility at its core, the platform is designed to support a much broader audience of people wanting more certainty before attending events.
This may include:
- People living with disability
- Carers and support people
- Older Australians
- Families with prams
- People recovering from temporary injuries
- People with sensory sensitivities
- Anyone wanting clearer information before heading to an unfamiliar venue or event
Accessibility information benefits far more people than most event platforms recognise. Inclusable exists to help make events easier to understand, easier to plan for and easier to enjoy.
What kind of accessibility information can I find on Inclusable?
Inclusable focuses on practical accessibility information that helps people understand what an event experience may actually feel like before arriving. Depending on the event or venue, information may include:
- Accessible parking availability
- Step-free access
- Handrail availability
- Seating options
- Accessible bathrooms
- Auslan interpretation
- Quiet or sensory-friendly areas
- Public transport accessibility
- Entry and queue details
The goal is to provide useful, real-world information that helps attendees make decisions based on their own individual needs and preferences.
How does Inclusable help me plan ahead?
Inclusable is designed to reduce uncertainty before attending events.
Instead of arriving at a venue unsure about access, seating, movement or facilities, users can review practical information beforehand and decide whether an event feels right for them.
For many people, uncertainty is often the biggest barrier to attending events and experiences. Inclusable helps remove some of that stress by providing clearer event information that supports confidence, independence and better planning.
Because the best part of going out should be the event itself — not worrying about what happens when you arrive.
How is Inclusable different from other event platforms?
Most event and ticketing platforms focus primarily on transactions. Inclusable focuses on confidence.
While traditional platforms may simply label an event as “accessible”, Inclusable aims to provide more practical and detailed information that helps attendees understand what the event experience may actually involve before booking. The goal is to help attendees feel informed before booking, not surprised after arriving.
Are all events on Inclusable fully accessible?
Not necessarily.
Inclusable is not about labelling venues as “good” or “bad” for accessibility. Instead, the goal is to provide clearer information so attendees can decide what works best for their own individual needs.
Every person experiences accessibility differently, which is why practical detail matters so much.
Inclusable celebrates venues and organisers for being transparent and providing clearer information, helping more people attend events with greater confidence.
Is Inclusable available across Australia?
Yes.
Inclusable is designed as an Australia-wide platform, with events and venue listings continuing to grow across different regions and event categories.
The long-term goal is to help make accessibility information easier to access, easier to understand and more visible across the Australian events industry.
How do I stay updated on new events?
Users can download the Inclusable app to browse events, save preferences and discover experiences that better align with their needs and interests.
As the platform grows, Inclusable aims to deliver smarter and more personalised event discovery experiences based on user preferences and accessibility requirements.
For organisers
Can I purchase tickets through Inclusable?
Yes.
Inclusable includes ticketing functionality for participating events, allowing users to browse events and purchase tickets through the platform.
The platform is also designed to support event organisers and venues through lower-fee ticketing compared to many comparable event ticketing platforms, helping organisers keep more from every ticket sold while improving accessibility visibility for attendees.
How much does it cost to sell tickets?
2.5% per ticket sold plus a $0.50 processing fee — a lower-fee way to sell tickets and keep more from every sale.
How do I list an event?
Register your interest on the List Your Event page and our team will be in touch about getting your events listed.
What information can I add to a listing?
Alongside your event details, you can share practical venue information — like parking, stairs, seating, quiet areas and transport — to help people know more before they go.
