'$afety Deposit Box' by Good New$ Bank (Cassie Thring and Nicholas Hanisch), is a playful, layered installation created for the Bentham Street Gallery. Riffing on the Bentham Street Gallery as literal safety deposit boxes, Good New$ Bank uses familiar signifiers of wealth—fat stacks of cash, diamond rings—a dose of humour, in‑jokes and hidden symbols to ask, "What does our community value?" These artworks highlight the tension between outward displays of wealth and the poignancy of sentimental, treasured objects. Visitors are encouraged to scan the QR code by the galleries to contribute to the growing Good New$ database, a participatory archive of what people choose to value and why. Nicholas Hanisch and Cassie Thring's collaborative practice, Good New$ Bank, is a hopeful resistance to cynicism: bored with widespread nihilism, they imagine communities where good news is valued above all. Their work explores how society measures success and wealth and proposes an alternative through art. Presented by the City of Adelaide in collaboration with Good New$ Bank, Exhibition Studios and Karl Meyer.

100BPM is a contemporary dance work by Mexican-Australian choreographer Elena Osalde, built from the everyday and ancestral gestures of the dancers who perform it. The work takes its inspiration from the pulse, the one rhythm every person shares. Osalde developed it in collaboration with an ensemble whose cultural ancestries span 14 countries, among them Mexico, Nigeria, Japan, India, Turkey and Scotland. Each dancer drew on their own heritage, lived experience and movement history, and those gestures are combined into ensemble movement that shows what makes each performer distinct and what they have in common. Osalde's work has been presented at Dancehouse, Federation Square, Bold Festival, Hillscene Festival and Melbourne Fringe. 100BPM plays at Fringe Encore: Ballarat, as part of the 2026 Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Animated by intimate, understated arrangements and lyrical honesty, #1 Dads is a perfect introduction to Iansek's sonic authenticity and rich, rewarding music. His gentle melodies and less-is-more production make for homely yet sophisticated pop songs that have seen the Australian-born, London-based artist become an unassuming cult favourite, beloved with fans and critics alike. Debuting as #1 Dads with 2011's Man of Leisure, Iansek further showcased his sincere, quietly innovative songcraft with 2014's ARIA-nominated About Face and 2020's Golden Repair. Born of a period of dramatic upheaval, Every Little Fire is the Melbourne-bred, London-based artist's most deeply personal record. The Lake Goldsmith Steam Preservation Association was established in the late 1950s, with a handful of remnant engines operating in a paddock nostalgically re-creating a bygone era. Lake Goldsmith is unique on the Australian Steam Rally scene in that it has permanent sheds owned by club members which house their magnificent toys. This is a great family outing just outside of Ballarat. Food and refreshments available all weekend. Tree-lined exhibition enclosures draw in portable displays of historic agricultural machinery and the engines that once drove them. 150km Feast – Dinner Under the Stars returns to historic Maydale Reserve in Horsham. In 2027, guests are invited to experience the feast in a whole new way, with a four-course progressive dining experience taking them on a journey through the historic Maydale Reserve precinct. With local wine in hand, guests will move through some of Maydale Reserve's unique heritage spaces, enjoying each course in a different setting and discovering more of this remarkable property on the banks of the Wimmera River. Led by Head Chef Alex King of King's Catering, the menu will celebrate produce sourced from within approximately 150 kilometres of Horsham, showcasing the farmers, growers, producers and agricultural landscapes of the region. The evening concludes with a spectacular dessert experience created by Claire of Rupanyup Living Produce Co. More than a dinner, the 150km Feast is a celebration of where our food comes from, the people who produce it and the region we call home. On-site camping is available.
