Try Archery for beginners is an archery session for you to learn to shoot a bow and arrow – providing all the gear and instruction you need.
Experience the excitement and thrill of learning to shoot a bow, no previous skills needed
During the 2.5 hour session qualified coaches will take you through
- safety on the range
- handling a bow, loading an arrow and letting it fly
- using sights and how to score the arrows
- plenty of practice time
- a short break to meet new people and chat about Archery
- finish with a fun activity
You will be using quality, well-maintained recurve bows equipped with sights and a set of matching arrows. A finger tab, arm guard, bow sling and chest protector will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time, you do not need to buy any archery gear to attend. Different bow sizes and target distances are available to suit all participants.
