The room invites slow looking. Natural light moves across shelves and plinths, brushstrokes show their edges, glazes catch and pool, and paper fibres reveal themselves up close. Artists are present and approachable, happy to talk about materials, process and the ideas that shaped each work. New pieces appear as the day goes on.
