Furneaux Islands Festival Weekend
About this event
The Furneaux Islands Festival is a unique Tasmanian event held on Flinders Island to celebrate the community, culture, and musical heritage of our diverse island community. Held annually in January, the festival stages a variety of events at different venues across the Island.
The Furneaux Islands Festival weekend will be held January 23-24, and a Free Community BBQ Day on Sunday 25th at FIAAI (Flinders Island Aboriginal Association) Park in Lady Barron.
The weekend will feature a wonderful program of events and activities to take part in alongside our talented local musicians.
The Festival features a bounty of musical and performing talent, locally inspired arts and crafts, and delicious local produce - all in celebration of our laid-back island lifestyle.
