Every February and March, Adelaide Fringe Festival transforms Adelaide, South Australia into a stage for 31 extraordinary days and nights, and has done so for more than six decades. A world-renowned, bucket-list experience, this is where you turn a corner and stumble onto something you'll talk about for years.
Australia's biggest arts festival, Adelaide Fringe is open-access, with more than 1,500 shows by 8,000+ independent artists spanning cabaret, theatre, comedy, circus, music, visual arts and workshops. The sheer scale of choice is staggering, across every price point and every genre.

Adelaide Fringe takes place across more than 500 venues, from grand theatres to pop-up stages in laundromats, caravans and taxis. Iconic precincts like the Garden of Unearthly Delights, Gluttony, the Rhino Room, Holden Street Theatres and Fool's Paradise sit alongside hundreds of unexpected spaces that make the whole city electric.
Recognised for its commitment to inclusion, Adelaide Fringe won Excellence in Accessible Tourism and Major Festival & Event at the 2025 South Australian Tourism Awards.
