The 2027 Nippy's Loxton Gift continues one of South Australia's great professional running traditions, bringing athletes and spectators together in the picturesque riverside town of Loxton. Now in its 26th edition, this bucket-list carnival gives runners from near and far the chance to compete for a coveted sash.
Across the afternoon and into the evening, crowds will be treated to the excitement of handicapped racing. Welcoming athletes of all ages and abilities from 11 years old, the carnival features distances from 70m through to 1000m, with handicap formats designed to deliver tight, thrilling finishes.
Entry is free for spectators, making the 2027 Nippy's Loxton Gift a perfect day out for families, locals and visitors. Enjoy the electric carnival atmosphere, cheer on some of the most talented athletes in professional running, and make the most of the food trucks and riverside setting for a weekend away.
