Litchfield Rural Show
About this event
Litchfield Rural Show
After more than 46 years bringing the community together, the Litchfield Rural Show has entered a new chapter at Livingstone Recreation Reserve, just 15 minutes further down the Stuart Highway from its former home at Freds Pass Reserve.
Formerly the Freds Pass Rural Show, the event moved to Livingstone Recreation Reserve in 2026. Its first show at the new venue welcomed thousands of visitors, establishing a new home for this much-loved Top End event.
A true community agricultural show, the Litchfield Rural Show celebrates rural life, agriculture, family, food and community. Enjoy equestrian events, cattle, goats, poultry, horticulture, photography, art, craft and cookery, plus the popular Paddock to Plate program.
Entertainment for all ages includes the Grand Parade, woodchopping, classic cars and bikes, Talent Quest, live music, children's entertainment, animal nursery, sideshow alley, markets, food and commercial stalls.
Saturday night features a children's concert, spectacular fireworks and a headline act. Sunday continues the fun with live entertainment, family activities, competitions, displays, food and markets.
More than an agricultural show, the Litchfield Rural Show celebrates the people, businesses, producers and community groups that make the rural area and wider Top End so special.
Come along and experience rural life, community and all things Top End at the Litchfield Rural Show.
