Melt Festival is an annual, open-access festival of Queer arts and culture staged across Magandjin/Brisbane, Australia.
Building on the success of its predecessor, Melt – presented annually at Brisbane Powerhouse since 2015 – the festival has grown into a city-wide celebration.
As Brisbane prepares to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2032, Melt Festival showcases queer art, artists, allies, icons, sports and ideas.
The festival is guided by the Melt Reference Group, a committee of LGBTQIA+ leaders and artists.
