Rest and Restore Retreat
About this event
Nature Immersion – Digital Detox – Inspirational Creativity.
Switch off. Tune in. Get wild.
October in Girraween is something else. Ancient granite formations rise from a landscape carpeted in wildflowers — pinks, purples, whites and golds blooming everywhere. Kangaroos graze around the campground. The creeks run clear and cold. The sky at night is vast, dark and alive with stars.
This is where Rest and Restore retreat takes place. A gorgeous restorative experience, full of spaciousness, movement and rest. With time for walking, swimming, creativity, immersing in the beauty of nature and lying back with a book, or napping on your comfy bed (a real mattress with soft organic cotton sheets and cosy quilt) in a premium quality tent.
Nothing is rushed. Everything is nourishing.
There are playful creative sessions — watercolour, dance, clay modelling — a chance for you to get out of your head and into your body.
The beautiful multi instrumentalist, Ruth Ross will lead sound healing sessions, allowing you to drop into a state of deep relaxation. In the evening around the fire, she'll play violin, enveloping you in gentle music before sleep.
This is an experience that leaves you not only rested, but reinvigorated and inspired. Connected to yourself in a way that is really meaningful.
Four nights. Fully held.
Connect to nature. Connect to yourself.
