A collection of landscape and still life paintings by local artist Annie Forbes, a tonal realist oil painter who works exclusively from life. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding farmland and the quiet beauty of familiar subjects, she approaches each work as a visual study, with the aim of achieving both light and depth.
The Old Butchers Shop Gallery is a place to show the diversity and talent of Ballarat artists, with a different artist exhibiting each month.
