Current Exhibition at The Convent Gallery

A new exhibition featuring six exciting artists will be on show at The Convent Gallery for eight weeks.
Maheen Hashmi, a Melbourne-based contemporary artist, is exhibiting in the Main Gallery. Her work work explores themes of light, warmth, hope and belonging through semi-abstract landscapes inspired by the Australian environment.
Keming Shen's oil paintings, typically depicting everyday people, is exhibiting in the Balcony Gallery. Keming has just won the First Prize Nada Hunter Award at the Victorian Artists Society Portrait Exhibition.
Anita Klasevski's abstract paintings are exhibiting in the Print Gallery. All her paintings begin with a figure, then move beyond portraiture to reflect an inner landscape where emotion, experience and spirituality collide.
Matthew Petrucci, a figurative expressionist fine art painter, is exhibiting in the Upper Hall Gallery.
Central Victorian artist, Liadaan, has her Idyllic Fusion exhibition showing in the Balcony Gallery. It is an exhibition 10 years in the making where all the sculptures she has created, have been inspired by the paintings she has made.
Vicki Corser, a contemporary impressionist painter from Sydney is exhibiting in the Parlour. Her brushstrokes are bold, the paints are bold. All her paintings are bold and beautiful.
