Welcome to Australia's biggest regional short film festival, Gympie's very own Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival. This September you can experience nine days of brilliant short films, live music, talks, workshops and more.

In 2026 Heart of Gold celebrates 20 years as the foundational arts and cultural event in the Gympie region.
Celebrating not only links to history, also aspirations for the future and the integrity of the human spirit.
