A Taste of Spring – Vegetarian Cooking on the Fleurieu
About this event
Anita Robin in Goolwa, South Australia, invites food lovers to celebrate the fresh flavours of spring with a hands-on vegetarian culinary experience on the Fleurieu Peninsula. In this exclusive four-hour class, guests create a delicious selection of dishes including a special soup, vegetable strudel, flavourful vegetable hamburgers and homemade cannelloni filled with a variety of vegetables, followed by refreshing sorbets and desserts.
Swiss-born Anita brings international experience and personalised guidance to an intimate small-group setting. Guests are actively involved in preparing each dish, discovering new techniques and exploring how fresh, seasonal ingredients can be transformed into satisfying and flavourful vegetarian cuisine. Afterwards, enjoy the freshly prepared menu accompanied by Fleurieu wines from Kimbolton and Dandelion. Each guest also receives a recipe booklet to recreate the dishes at home.
Set in the coastal town of Goolwa, spring is a beautiful time to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula, with its fresh local produce, wineries, beaches and nearby Murray River. Celebrate the season with an afternoon of colourful food, hands-on cooking and local wine, where Swiss Precision meets Fleurieu Flavour.
