Silent Santa - Sensory Friendly Santa Sessions

Port Broughton Community Hall, Port Broughton, South AustraliaMon, 14 Dec 2026, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

About this event

This holiday season, Barunga West Council is excited to offer a special Sensory-Friendly Santa Experience designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other sensory processing challenges. In a relaxed, welcoming environment, kids and their families can meet Santa without the usual hustle and bustle of crowded spaces.

Scheduled to follow the Port Broughton Christmas Festival, children and families can meet Santa in a serene and sensory-friendly setting to ensure everyone is included in the holiday season during the exclusive Sensory Hour.

Hosted by the Barunga West Council and supported by wonderful volunteers, this event offers a calm and safe setting where children can enjoy the magic of Christmas on their own terms. Santa will be there to share festive cheer, and our dedicated volunteers will be on hand to assist, ensuring that every child is welcomed with kindness and understanding.

To ensure everyone has a wonderful time, kindly contact the Council and book your preferred time. Don't miss out on the joy and festive cheer—reserve your spot today!

This is a perfect opportunity for families to make joyful memories while ensuring everyone feels included and supported. Come along, take photos with Santa, and experience the magic of Christmas in a friendly, stress-free environment!
