Artist of the Month - Jill Watson
About this event
Jill's story.
She wanted to explore her creative side and came across the medium of Polymer Clay. She purchased a few books and proceeded to clay play. She have had so much fun, experimenting, creating and it has not always been a success, but her motivation to create something different, found her attending an International Polymer Clay Conference/Workshops in Fremantle, Western Australia. The Tutors were from Europe, U.S.A and Australia. She found herself caught up in another world of Creativity and the horizons were endless. She came back to Encounter Bay bursting with ideas and new techniques and even to this day she is still learning. She still has contact with her International Tutors and participate in their on-line workshops.
The Gallery is run by a co-op of local artists located in the old historic bakery building opposite the Victor Harbor Steam Train Railway station. Car Park opposite.
