Maltha Waru Arts Celebration
About this event
Step into a celebration of culture, creativity, and community at the Maltha Waru Arts Celebration Fashion Show 2025. "Maltha Waru" means "Many Paths" in the Kalkadoon language.
This name beautifully symbolises the diversity and richness of stories told through different mediums of art and design.
With some joint collaboration between the artists and Outback at Isa, they're able to turn the physical artworks into a high-quality digital renditions.
This groundbreaking casual fashion showcase will also feature wearable art created by local schools and emerging artists from Outback North West Queensland.
Join them for an evening of elegance and cultural pride as these stunning creations take centre stage, blending heritage with modern fashion. Experience the many paths that connect art, culture, and community, while supporting regional Indigenous artists in sharing their stories with the world.
