Join Paula Boo and create a beautiful coiled basket. Learn some basic basketry techniques using sustainably harvested Bangalow Palm and hand-dyed Raffia and watch your piece come to life as we share a weaving circle and an afternoon together.
Coiling techniques are used around the world in many different cultures. Paula's coil workshops share commonly used coiling stitches using mainly found and harvested natural fibres and hand-dyed and paper raffia. You will go home with a fabulous and unique creation and hopefully a new found passion for weaving!
