About this event
The King of the Ranges Stockman's Challenge and Bush Festival is held annually in Murrurundi, NSW on the last weekend in September. It is a three day event that celebrates rural Australia and showcases the traditional bush skills of Australian stockmen and women.
Held at the foot of the picturesque Great Dividing Range, this festival has something for everyone including a rodeo, live music, market stalls, bush cooking demonstrations, dog high jump, bush poetry, shoeing, bareback obstacles, stock handling displays, cross country jumping, a dog trial, a campdraft, whipcracking clinics, goat races, pony rides, sheep shearing, action packed finals on Sunday and so much more!
This is a unique, family friendly event with on-site camping and lots of things to see and do.
They hope to see you in Murrurundi, on the last weekend in September, as you step back in time and celebrate the way the old bushies used to do it.
