Welcome to the 10th Annual Sunshine Coast Solstice Swim Event!
Presented by the Alexandra Headland Rotary Club and Alexandra Headland Surf Lifesaving Club, the Sunshine Coast Solstice Swim is a healthy and fun community swim event, run by the community for the community.
There are swim distances of 500 metres, one kilometre, three kilometres, five kilometres and the 50 metre Solstice Swim Dash. No race, no pressure, just a dip you want, but nearly naked i.e. No wetsuits..budgy smugglers and bikini's only.....but you do get a T-shirt to commemorate your efforts!
The swim is all about community and camaraderie, no pressure, just good vibes and fun!
Continuing the relationship with Multi Sport Australia and will be supplying timing anklets to all swimmers, to provide peace of mind and that all-important personal best time.
Note: No anklets will be issued for the 50m dash swim.. it's just a fun event to celebrate the Solstice.
All swim distances will be fully chaperoned by the amazing surf lifesavers at Alexandra Headland Surf Lifesaving Club.
