Peace in Our World-Children's Art Display | Victor Harbor Regional Gallery
About this event
Children aged 5-16 are invited to join the gallery by using an A4 piece of art paper to create an image of peace in our world. It needs to be your own work, created by your hands, not by using a computer.
Create an image of what peace may look like to you. It may contain people of different cultures, or animals, or beautiful scenery. Your teacher may show you some examples. Somewhere on your artwork, you need to have the words "May Peace Prevail on Earth".
The images will be displayed at the Victor Harbor Regional Art Gallery, Railway Terrace, Victor Harbor, during September 2026.
You and your friends can visit the exhibition. The display will help others see the beauty and love in our world. It will help focus their lives on peace and caring for others.
'Submit' your work to either your school, or the Victor Harbor Regional Art Gallery, by Friday 21st August 2026.
On Monday Sept 21st, we will celebrate the International Day of Peace at 11am, at the Peace Pole in the War land Reserve in Victor Harbor.
We all need peace and love in our lives. Care for animals and our environment is also important.
