Le Petit Chef & Friends turns dinner at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets into a culinary world tour and cooking competition. Le Petit Chef, the world's smallest chef, invites three miniature rivals from Spain, Italy, and Japan to compete for the coveted Golden Hat. Each chef's story plays out in 3D projection mapping right on the plate.

Four countries bring four courses. Each animated scene leads straight into the dish it describes. Spain opens with a sun-dried tomato and ricotta tart topped with jamón serrano and aged Manchego. Italy follows with ricotta and truffle ravioli under grated Parmigiano Reggiano. France brings beef fillet with silky pommes purée and Shiraz jus. Japan finishes with a matcha and yuzu entremet.

At the end of the night, guests vote for their favourite chef and watch the Golden Hat winner revealed. There are vegetarian and children's menus, so the show suits families, couples, and groups of friends.

The experience runs for about two hours in the hotel's Mezzanine, moments from the Adelaide Central Market. Guests can start or finish the evening at Merrymaker Rooftop Bar, Adelaide's highest rooftop bar open to the public.
