The Coonawarra Classic Clash Petanque Tournament returns to Australia's most renowned wine region in 2027.
Held at "the Piste' in the Coonawarra Park, the sounds of clashing steel balls, screams of delight and the clink of wine glasses will echo around the Coonawarra Township.
Open triples are invited to register to play 6 qualifying rounds on Saturday, to determine teams for Principale and Complementaire finals and Convivale competition. Join over 45 teams to play and taste some of Australia's best wines over the two days of competition. The tournament is open to all standards of petanque players and spectators are welcome to cheer on the sides.
Stay in the stunning Limestone Coast, enjoy the Coonawarra wine region, experience historic Penola, just a short drive to coastal town Beachport, and conveniently located in the middle of Adelaide and Melbourne. Book early to avoid disappointment
