The Aussie Alpine Backyarder is back for its second year, returning to the spectacular high-country landscape of Falls Creek, Victoria this New Year's Eve.
Set against breathtaking alpine scenery, this unique challenge invites participants to take on a 6.71 kilometre loop every hour, on the hour, winding through snowgums, ridgelines and engaging mountain terrain with over 200 metres of elevation gain. Runners continue for as long as they choose – testing not just physical strength, but mindset, determination and the thrill of seeing how far they can go.
Designed to be scenic and awe inspiring, the Aussie Alpine Backyarder welcomes all abilities. Participation options include the one lap wonder, the Mountain Explorerer, the Midnight Master and the limitless where you can test how far can you go? Whether you're chasing a personal milestone or stepping into your first trail challenge, there's an option for you
