A Journey Through Grief: Embracing Change and Releasing Pain Meditation Workshop

Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne, Brunswick, VictoriaWed, 15 July 2026, 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm

About this event

Grief and unwanted change are part of life, yet when you lose someone you love or face difficult transitions, the pain can feel overwhelming. In these moments, you often realise how much of your happiness and security depended on people and circumstances remaining the same.

Buddha taught that change is a natural part of life, and that through wisdom, compassion, and meditation you can gradually transform grief into inner strength and peace. This course will explore practical ways to navigate loss with greater resilience, clarity, and hope.

The teacher of this class is Maria Mylonas. Maria is a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of the New Kadampa Tradition, effortlessly blending her natural confidence and clear teaching style to make Buddha's wisdom accessible to all.

Enter down brick path on the railway side (western side) and up stairs by Cafe. For all ability access - go to intercom, dial 104 (bell symbol), take lift to level 1.
