Get ready for the roof to lift off at this Camerata Gala – a landmark event marking the first time Queensland's Chamber Orchestra will appear outside Brisbane in its full, expanded 35‑piece ensemble. Mozart's sparkling Marriage of Figaro Overture sets the scene with wit and brilliance, followed by a brand‑new work from Camerata's Emerging Composer‑in‑Residence, Imogen Ferdinando, inspired by the Queensland shire of Balonne. The evening culminates in Beethoven's exhilarating Symphony No.7, the work that cemented his status as the world's greatest living composer.
