From the organiser
In 2027, the Hamilton community will come together for Hamilton200, to explore and share the stories of the town and district across the past 200 years.
Hamilton200 will look at the people, places and events that have shaped the community.
Planning is now underway, with a community Working Group beginning to shape a program that brings together local history, stories, places, arts and community activities.
There is still much to develop, and the community will play an important part in shaping what Hamilton200 becomes. Over the coming months there will be opportunities to share stories, photographs, documents and objects, contribute ideas, open interesting places and spaces, and become involved in the program.
More will be shared as Hamilton200 takes shape.
