The Menopause Workshop

The Menopause Workshop is a full-day women's health experience held in the Barossa Valley, co-facilitated by Dr Sonia Malone, a women's health GP from Tanunda Medical Centre, and Jenny O'Brien, founder of Beyond Wellness Co.

Designed for women aged 35 and over who are navigating perimenopause, menopause or post-menopause, the workshop combines evidence-based medical education with practical lifestyle coaching, self-reflection and meaningful conversation. Participants receive a workbook, morning tea, lunch and continuous tea and coffee throughout the day.

The program is structured across four modules. Module One covers the science of perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause, including current evidence on menopause hormone therapy. Module Two addresses healthy ageing through nutrition, movement, sleep and stress. Module Three explores emotional wellbeing, self-compassion and the conversations women often avoid with partners, family, healthcare providers and themselves. Module Four guides participants through the Menopause LifeScript, a coaching framework that helps each woman build a personalised wellbeing plan to take home.

The workshop is held at the Vine Inn Barossa in Nuriootpa, with cabaret-style seating in a private function room. Numbers are limited to 30 participants per workshop to support meaningful conversation and personalised attention.

Participants leave with current information, practical tools, a written personal plan and connection to a supportive community of women. Optional follow-on coaching and an eight-week online program are available at workshop-attendee rates.
