Shining Lights
About this event
Mitch Berick - clarinet*
Cameron Hill, Holly Piccoli - violins*
Martin Alexander - viola*
Andrew Leask - cello*
A rare opportunity to hear Mozart's luminous Clarinet Quintet performed by some of Adelaide's shining lights in a version for basset clarinet that faithfully reflects Mozart's original manuscript. Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Clarinet Quintet is both energetic and lyrical, combining the rich romanticism of Brahms with a distinctive English twist.
Each concert runs for approximately 60 to 70 minutes, with no interval.
