Santos Tour Down Under Race Day 6: Norwood to Stirling
About this event
Norwood enters the chat as a final-day start location for the first time – sending riders into the Adelaide Hills and across a series of climbs on a 136-kilometre stage that builds to a big Stirling finish.
This final day of action demands commitment until the very last metre. We begin in cosmopolitan Norwood, just east of the city centre, where riders will roll out bound for the Adelaide Hills.
Norton Summit looms as an early test, followed by climbs through Ashton, Basket Range, Forest Range and Checker Hill. Birdwood, Mount Torrens, Lobethal, Woodside, Hahndorf and Mylor are set to welcome the peloton before a final lap through Stirling and one last push to the line.
Undulations across the route invite opportunists to strike – but it's going to take real tenacity to get the job done.
