About this event
Thirteen artists come together to celebrate the life of Saeko Ogi, a renowned Japanese poet who, at the age of 94, continues to create her works and happily resides in Canberra. Ogi has won several cultural awards for her writing in Australia with recognition from the Japan foundation and Japanese Embassy in Australia. Her recent publication Rock at the Roadside is the reference point for this exhibition.
Featuring traditional Mokuhanga woodblock prints by Megan Edwards, Jola Ewart, Roslyn Kean, Annita Keating, Keiko Kobayashi, Gemelle Madigan, Deborah Metz, Marilla Price, Susan Rushforth, Deidre Vaill, Kay Watanabe, Margaret White, and Trish Yates.
