Biggest Backyard Cricket Bash at Adelaide Oval

South Australians are invited to dust off the bat, gather their teammates and take part in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play cricket on the iconic Adelaide Oval as part of the inaugural Biggest Backyard Cricket Bash on Sunday 11 October 2026.
The Biggest Backyard Cricket Bash invites 10 teams to take part in a full-day, round-robin T10 competition on Adelaide Oval, with the top two teams battling it out in a grand final on the centre wicket alongside local cricket legends, with all funds raised shared between Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation and Cancer Council SA.
Proudly supported by the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA), South Australians are invited to gather their friends, workmates or sporting club for the rare opportunity to play on one of the world's most iconic sporting grounds, with each team contributing AUD10,000 to vital mental health and cancer research.
