Bottle Shock's Wine Olympics
About this event
The Wine Olympics is an exhilarating blind wine tasting competition where you and your friends face off to see who is the biggest wine nerd! Ideal for groups of 6-10 people, uncover the secret sommelier and they'll walk away with a bottle of wine and their very own trophy.
Each competition consists of 5 wines, served blind, with a challenge put to the group. There are three Wine Olympics categories to choose from:
Take on terroir with GeoGuessr Rookie (which country did each wine come from?)
Explore varietal character with Same Same But Different (which wine is made from which grape?)
Find out who really has expensive taste with The Price is Right (how much does each wine cost?)
Your booking includes:
An introduction to wine tasting led by a qualified sommelier
Five blind wine tastings per person
Shared grazing plates of local charcuterie and cheeses from catering partner Food For Wine
A prize bottle and trophy for your Wine Olympic Champion
10% off all bottle purchases on the day
This is the ideal group activity for anyone looking to wow their friends, family, or colleagues, with a unique wine tasting experience!
(Plus, your tasting notes could score you points on our state-wide Big Blind League, and maybe earn you AUD5000 cash)
