About this event
Be Seen at Barossa Village is a welcoming community art exhibition celebrating creativity, identity and lived experience across generations.
Visitors can explore original artworks created by older people, community artists, children, emerging creatives and event dogs from across the Barossa. Some artists have spent a lifetime developing their craft. Others are sharing their work publicly for the first time.
Each piece is accompanied by the artist's own words, offering a personal insight into the memories, ideas and experiences behind the work.
The exhibition invites visitors to slow down, look more closely and discover the stories held within each artwork. It creates a platform for people who may not always have opportunities to be recognised, while bringing the wider community together through creativity and connection.
Presented by Barossa Village, Be Seen reflects a commitment to valuing every person and creating spaces where people can contribute, belong and be celebrated.
