Every thing, it turns out, has a story. Author Robyn Annear sheds playful light on the workings behind a 170-year history of democratic government in Victoria. She will introduce objects found in Victoria's Parliament House and tell stories about the people who wielded them.
Robyn Annear has authored ten books of history, including Bearbrass, Adrift in Melbourne, and most recently, Shutter City: Fragments of a forgotten Melbourne and Spring Street Things. Her podcast Nothing on TV presents stories ransacked from Trove historical newspapers.
