Harbour Heroes: Survival Skills
About this event
Their Harbour Heroes are setting off on a survival adventure – do they have what it takes to thrive alongside the harbour?
Guided by experienced educators, children will forage useful plants, experiment with ways to make harbour water safe, and work together to choose a campsite and build a shelter using natural materials.
Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities for imaginative nature play, wildlife spotting and following children's curiosity as they explore the park.
A fun, full day of adventure, teamwork and discovery – where every child builds confidence, solves problems and develops a deeper connection with the natural world.
This program is suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years.
