Carry Less - A Community Mental Health Discussion
About this event
Carry Less is a free community evening hosted by The Flywheel Bar and Cafe in the heart of Beaufort, bringing together locals and visitors for an afternoon of honest conversation, lived experience and connection.
The event features three compelling guest speakers — a lived experience advocate and Counsellor, a rural paramedic and a local community leader — each sharing personal stories that explore resilience, mental health and what it means to carry the weight of life in the country.
Following the presentations, guests are invited into an open panel discussion — a facilitated conversation where questions are welcomed and community dialogue is encouraged. The format is warm, unhurried and genuinely inclusive.
Finger food is provided throughout the afternoon, with live music continuing into the evening for those who wish to stay and connect.
Carry Less is presented by The Flywheel Bar and Cafe in partnership with Battlefield Blue, and supported by the Victorian Government's Look Over the Farm Gate Community Grants Program.
Free entry. All welcome.
