Spanning the 15th to 19th centuries, these extraordinary works offer a rare glimpse into the artistic traditions, stories and spiritual world of Orthodox Christianity.

Whether you're deeply familiar with Orthodox iconography or encountering it for the first time, Divine Thresholds invites you to experience one of the longest-standing and most profound visual traditions in Christianity through a new perspective. Look beyond the surface of these remarkable works and discover centuries of master craftsmanship, reverent devotion, and momentous history within.

During the first Saturday of each month, you can also join a guided public tour of the exhibition. These tours offer a rich introduction to the art, history and meaning of Orthodox Christian iconography. Learn how these sacred images were created, why they continue to hold deep spiritual meaning, and how they have connected communities across generations.
