Line of Life: an exhibition by Ange Strong and Judy Diamond
About this event
Two artists. Two distinct visual languages. One shared exploration of the experiences that shape us. Line of Life brings together expressive mixed-media landscapes by Ange Strong and figurative works by Judy Diamond in an exhibition exploring memory, motherhood, ageing, grief, identity, resilience and renewal.
Ange's landscapes draw on Mount Kaputar and the country surrounding Narrabri, transforming deeply personal memories through intuitive layers of colour, texture and movement. Judy's drawings, paintings, collage and print-based works trace the evolving lives of women - from youth and motherhood to letting go, change and the quiet strength of beginning again.
Across landscape and figure, line becomes a thread: marking what has been lost, what remains and what carries us forward.
