Malamiya Mang 2026 Family Day Celebration
About this event
DUMAWUL invites the community to a day of celebration including the public opening of the Malamiya Mang exhibition, Djaara ceremony, fashion, music, workshops, stalls and culture for all.
The family day event will begin with a Welcome and Smoking Ceremony. Visitors can then embark on an Ulumbarra CBD walking tour conducted by DUMAWUL. Enjoy a live performance from Minyerra Live BIYAL. In the afternoon there will be badge making, workshops, and Yarram Yarram - Build the Bundjiyl Nest workshop.
The Malamiya Mang group exhibition of Djaara artists explores the theme of Connection – to time, to place, to Country, to Culture.
