Can the Warrior Princesses save the day?
Queen Geraldine is back to take over the kingdom with darkness and mysteries. Her daughter, Princess Verna, is learning to take over the family business of being evil. Their pet cat, James, is no ordinary cat - he's a spy (and he talks, of course). And where is that shapeshifting dragon, Draco? He's just trying his best.
Can their wicked plans be thwarted by the three Warrior Princesses - Minka, Valka, and Brietta? Does their mother, Queen Aurele, know just how dangerous the mission is? Will Hadley and Elayda (Fairy of all Forests, Mountains and Pebbles and Fairy of all Oceans, Seas and Puddles, respectively) be able to keep the Warrior Princesses safe? What need is there for the healer, Loz Enge? That seems ominous.
The Darkest Hour comes from the inventive, curious, and delightfully twisted minds of the Bakker Productions Stage One students (with a little direction from their teacher, Indea Quinn). They excitedly invite you to discover what can be created when a group of 5 - 8 year-olds choose their dream character to play on stage, and build a story through improvisation, narrative negotiation and taking playfulness seriously.
