Art Meets Film: Wings of Desire

For September's Art Meets Film screening at The Riddoch, exhibiting artist Dagny Strand of Penola has selected Wim Wenders' acclaimed 1987 masterpiece, Wings of Desire.
Set in a divided Berlin, this poetic and visually stunning film follows two angels who quietly observe the lives of the city's residents, reflecting on love, longing and what it means to be human. Widely regarded as one of cinema's great works, Wings of Desire is a moving exploration of connection, memory and imagination.
Art Meets Film by the Riddoch is a film series held on the second Thursday of each month.
Galleries are open prior to the film screening. Cinema doors open 5:30pm. Film starts 5:45pm.
Complimentary snacks are provided, and bar service available. Ages 18+
