Grapes of Mirth – Tamborine Mountain
About this event
Grapes of Mirth is heading to South East Queensland for the first time. Grapes of Mirth turns the country's best wine regions into a stage for six of Australia's best-known comedians, pairing world-class comedy with local winemakers, great food, a travelling DJ, and a huge sunset dancefloor. It is an outdoor comedy and wine party.
To celebrate the first show in Southern Queensland, Grapes of Mirth has assembled one of its biggest lineups ever, featuring proper Australian comedy royalty.
Taking to the stage:
One of the biggest names in Australian comedy, Tommy Little. Australia's favourite online mum, Mel Buttle. Host of Rupaul's Drag Race, Rhys Nicholson. An icon of Australian comedy, Pete Helliar. The razor-sharp Urvi Majumdar. The party host, personal sommelier and chief idiot, Merrick Watts.
Before, between and after the comedy, DJ Pedro Moshman will light up the dancefloor so guests can dance the night away.
The format is simple: a comedy gala split across three comedy brackets. In between, there is seriously good local wine to drink, delicious food to smash, a dancefloor to hit, and plenty of sunshine to soak up.
