Open Camperdown
About this event
Open Camperdown is your opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at the historic buildings of Camperdown. Discover the stories, architecture and heritage that shaped Camperdown during this special History Month event.
Open Camperdown offers rare behind-the-scenes access to some of the town's most significant historic buildings, with opportunities to explore, learn and meet the people who help preserve local history.
This event is brought to you by the Camperdown and District Historical Society and Corangamite Shire Council.
Participating venues include Leura Lodge Masonic Hall, the Heritage Centre, Theatre Royal, Clock Tower, Shire Office, Western District Newspapers, the Court House, St Paul's Anglican Church Precinct, Master's House, Peacock Hall and the RSL Hall.
Please note that while it is easy walking between venues, use of stairs is required at Theatre Royal, Clock Tower and parts of the Shire Office.
There are limited numbers for Western District Newspapers tours, so bookings are essential for this experience. Please visit the event website for more information about the venues.
