Join a very special evening celebrating World Grenache Day with Amelia Nolan of Alkina Wines and Stephen Pannell of S.C. Pannell.
From Greenock in the Barossa Valley, Alkina has quickly become one of the region's most exciting producers, working with organically farmed vineyards and old Grenache vines to make detailed, site driven wines that put a strong focus on geology and place.
Across in McLaren Vale, S.C. Pannell has become one of the defining names of modern Australian Grenache. Established by Stephen and Fiona Pannell in 2004, the estate has helped champion a fresher, more expressive interpretation of McLaren Vale, with Grenache sitting at the heart of the range.
Throughout the evening we'll taste a stellar line up from both producers, exploring how Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale Grenache differ in site, structure and personality. Exceptional wines, great food and two brilliant producers in the room. A World Grenache Day celebration not to be missed.
