Canberra Premiere of a debut collaborative album and visual experience.

National Film and Sound Archive of Australia, Acton, Australian Capital TerritorySat, 21 Nov 2026, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

About this event

A cinematic odyssey featuring the music of Thom Yorke and Mark Pritchard, followed by a question and answer.

Join them for a post-screening question and answer with animator and director Jonathon Zawada and renowned English producer Mark Pritchard.

A remarkable collaboration between groundbreaking visual artist Jonathan Zawada, Radiohead's Thom Yorke, and renowned UK music producer Mark Pritchard, Tall Tales is a dystopian fairy tale for the modern world, depicting rising tides, kings and queens, amazon logistics and robotic arms under iridescent skies.

Presented by WARP RECORDS, Tall Tales edges light with the dark as Thom's echoed chants intertwine with Mark's shimmering electronics and Jonathan's hyperreal environments.

'Blending haunting vocals, experimental soundscapes, and hyperreal visuals, TALL TALES reflects on beauty, power, and the price of progress — a prophetic visual album delivered right on time.' Dave Griffiths, HEAVY Magazine
