Canberra Potters Members Exhibition
About this event
The Canberra Potters Members Exhibition is Canberra's major ceramic exhibition of the year and features some of the best work created by our members over the past twelve months, demonstrating trends in contemporary ceramics and the infinite breadth of current ceramic arts practice.
The exhibition recognises outstanding potters in our community through the awarding of a number of prizes made possible through the support of the Canberra Potters Society Board as well as exhibition sponsors. These include Walker Ceramics, Keane Ceramics, Northcote Pottery Supplies, The Australian Ceramics Association, Craft + Design Canberra and The Curatoreum.
The Doug Alexander Award, sponsored by Canberra Potters, is awarded to the best overall exhibit and is highly regarded among the region's potters and ceramicists. This non-acquisitive $5000 cash prize is sponsored by Canberra Potters.
