The Lovers: The Heart of Community - Darwin
About this event
Arafura Music Collective closes the 2026 season with The Lovers — The Heart of Community. This vibrant program celebrates love in all its forms, from romantic, spiritual
family and community, through music that moves from duos to rich ensemble moments.
You will experience an afternoon of beautiful music, including brand new Australian work by Annette Anderson, alongside favourites from Bach, Tchaikovsky, and much loved
Australian composers Elena Kats Chernin and Peggy Polias.
Created from the real relationships that shape Arafura Music Collective, The Lovers explores how music sits at the heart of our community. Expect joy, connection, emotion and
creativity for a warm, cross generational experience for everyone.
