Cloud Studies closing event: Artist Talks and Workshop
About this event
Join this closing event on the final day of Cloud Studies with artists Rebecca Beardmore, Leah Beeferman, Yvette Hamilton, and Anna Madeleine Raupach.
11am: Artist talks in the gallery
12pm-2pm: Cyanotype workshop in the photo access gardens
In this hands-on workshop, participants are invited to contribute their own cloud image to a shared artwork that brings together different ways of imagining and representing the sky.
Before the workshop, participants upload their own image of a cloud through the form below – something you've photographed, found, or imagined. These images will become part of a collective artwork.
On the day, participants will transform their cloud images into cyanotypes on fabric, before working together to stitch individual panels into one collective sky. Participants will also be invited to make their cloud into a cyanotype on paper to take home.
All materials and light refreshments will be provided.
The artist talk and workshop are free to attend and open to all. To contribute your cloud image to the collective artwork, registrations with your image uploaded must be received by 12pm, Wednesday 21 October.
